The King

**The King**

**His Gifts**

The King is the part of a man that leads with order, purpose, and steady strength. He creates stability for the people and projects entrusted to him, takes responsibility for his choices, and stands firm in his values. He doesn't need to dominate to be respected, because his authority comes from integrity. He offers protection, direction, and the gift of blessing, seeing the worth in others and calling it forward. He reminds a man that true power builds others up.

**His Shadow**

When the King's authority is driven by fear instead of wisdom, his strength turns into harm. He can look like:

- **The Tyrant:** rules through control, intimidation, and the need to be right.

- **The Weakling:** abdicates his throne, avoiding responsibility and leadership.

- **The Absent King:** is physically or emotionally gone when he is needed most.

- **The Fallen King:** lets pride and unchecked power destroy what he built.

These aren't flaws of character. They are what happens when a man was never shown how to hold power with humility.

**A Reflection Before You Begin**

Take a quiet moment with this question:

*"Where in my life am I either gripping control too tightly or avoiding the responsibility that is mine to carry, and what is the fear underneath?"*

Let the first answer that rises be the true one. If something stirred, that's your invitation.
